Here she is! After almost 2 full days of labor and assorted other happenings, our little Emily Anne was born. Here are a few pictures of the little tyke.

Emily is now 3 1/2 weeks old. These pictures are over a week old, but this is pretty much what she looks like right now. She went to the doctor a week ago and everything checked out GREAT. She weighs 7 lbs. 13 oz.
1/3/99
Emily is now 4 months old. She weights 14 pounds and is 25 1/2 inches long. She fought off a bout of bronchialitis in November and is now healthy as can be. She is enjoying daycare, too. In the past week, she has started rolling over. First, from back to front, and now from front to back. Her big move, though, is scooting around on her back. She arches her back and kicks her legs, which scoots her up a few inches. After a couple of minutes, she is 4 feet from where she started. This activity has left a nice bald spot on the back of her head. Enjoy the new pictures and stop back soon for another update.
2/19/99
Emily will be 6 months old in a few days. She has been battling a few ear infections lately so she's getting sick of taking her antibiotic. But she's never lost her good spirits and never fails to give her Dad a smile whenever he asks for one. Her latest physical trick is sitting up. We've been practicing with her for the past week, and she can sit by herself for several minutes at a time. Crawling and getting into trouble can't be far behind.
4/20/99
These pictures show her progression from the baby tub to the big tub. She's been doing great lately. We had tubes put in her ears in mid-March to stop the ear infections. It has been working.

It has been awhile since the last update. Emily is walking to beat the band. She started with the shopping cart and lately has been stepping out solo. She still enjoys going to "school" (daycare), and her vocabulary is growing. It now includes: "kitty", "pretty", "hi", "dada", "mama", and a few others. Lastly, she has gone to the pool a few times as well as splashed around in her own pool in the back yard. She definately likes the role of bathing beauty.
9/1/99
Emily celebrated her first birthday with several of her friends and family from all over. Her health has been great all summer and at her one year checkup she was 50 percentile on everything but head size. Her peanut head is in the 20 percentile.
1/22/2000
Emily is 17 months old in two days. She has been sledding in the snow a lot lately and learning new words and songs and dance moves almost on a daily basis. Her favorite phrases are "Hi kitty!" and "What's that!". The doctor says she is 50% across the board except for head size. She has a little peanut head. She's healthy and happy almost all the time.

Pictures from the summer. Emily is almost two now. She went to DisneyWorld in July and enjoyed swimming in the pool with her water wings. She rode Dumbo and lots of other rides. She also went on a cruise ship for three days and loved seeing Snow White and Cinderella in person.
11/5/2000
Emily is a little over two years old now. Here are some pictures from Halloween. Her vocabulary is amazing and her singing voice is top-notch. She can belt out almost all the songs from Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Her best is "Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down". Emily loves her new house and her new bedroom...because she sleeps in a big-girl bed.
9/5/2001
Emily just turned three...and we have a lot of pictures to catch up with. Here is one from her third birthday party.

Emily is still adjusting to being a big sister, but is doing great. She helps out all the time and is getting bigger and smarter all the time.
